Kids 1st License Plates

Dear Colleagues in Ministry,

Assuring the health and safety of Colorado’s children is a major mission of the whole faith community. We can make progress in that mission by supporting the sale of the new   Colorado Kids 1st license plate.

The Colorado Kids 1st license plate is a specialty plate that is available to all Colorado residents. Sales from the plate support the Colorado Kids 1st health and safety projects.

As the Colorado Council of Churches is helping with the promotion of this license plate, Colorado Kids 1st has agreed to dedicate some of the funds to our work for children. In August, you will receive a special post card that will direct you to the web sites where you can learn all the detail of how your members can secure these beautiful license plates and at the same time make a difference in kids lives.

Most of our congregations have a “Rally Day” in September. I would encourage you to use “Kids 1st” as your theme this year and to promote the opportunity as you raise up the importance of health and safety of all children. Promotional materials will be available in August.

Peace & grace,

Rev. Dr. Jim Ryan
